    Cantos de Espana Op. 232 (Songs of Spain)

    This piece was written for piano in 5 movements:

     

    (i)                  Preludio

    (ii)               Oriental

    (iii)              Bajo la Palmera

    (iv)             Cordoba

    (v)              Seguidillas

     

    When the Suite Espanola was published after his death in 1918 more pieces were added to it and the "Preludio" and "Seguidillas" from this work became "Asturias" and "Castilla" for the revised version.
