     Check My Machine

    (Paul McCartney)

    Paul McCartney Recordings

Parlophone R6037B (UK 45 picture sleeve)

This song was the first that Paul McCartney recorded in 1979 when he returned to his farm in Scotland to record privately.  He had wanted to test his equipment out and this was the end result.  The album McCartney II came out of the 20 songs recorded in that session but Check My Machine wasn't included.  The initial CD issue of the album did, however, feature it and is included on the re-mastered CD as a bonus track.  It was released in 1980 as the B-Side of "Waterfalls".
