     China Doll

    (Leroy Anderson)

Written in 1951, this piece lasts approximately just 2 minutes.  Led off by an oboe, it is joined by the entire orchestra and has been described as having a "delicate, fragile melody".  It was released as a 78rpm and 45rpm single, often with "Phantom Regiment" on the B-Side with a further vinyl release in EP form.
