    Concerto in C Major for Trumpet, Three Oboes, Bassoon and Continuo   

    (Tomaso Giovanni Albinoni)

     

    This piece of music was written at the end of the 17th/ beginning of the 18th century.  According to liner notes there is no information regarding the concerto but it is speculated that it may have been for an outdoor event.  It includes solo performances by oboe and bassoon as well as the trumpet and is written in three movements:

     

    (i)    Allegro moderato

    (ii)   Affettuoso

    (iii)  Presto
