lovelorn elegy, courtesy of the pen of 1950s heartthrob Jimmie
Rodgers. In interesting
contrast to other songs of its ilk, it is not the darkness to be afraid of,
but the light. Stylistically,
it falls somewhere between the feel-good pop of The Association and the
ballads of Jimmie's old buddy, Buddy Holly.
