Genghis Khan (Ralph Siegel/Bernd Meinunger - Christian Dornaus) Genghis Khan (Dschinghis Khan) recordings (CBS, S CBS 7317 A)(UKpromo) The song was written as the German entry for the 1979 Eurovision Song Contest under the name "Dschinghis Khan"and it came 4^th in the competition. The song's album went gold and platinum in over 20 countries outside of Germany. It has appeared often in the Eurovision Song Contest commemorative CDs. This version is arranged and conducted by Norbert Daum. The song was played at New York Rangers games every time a goal was scored by Petr Prucha.
