Heartbroke (Guy Clark) The first track and first #1 hit from Ricky Skaggs' 1982 album, Highways and Heartaches. George Strait covered the song around the same time. The song, and the singers, helped usher in a generation of neo-traditionalists who reclaimed country and western music. It has since become the name of a Ricky Skaggs compilation, released on 7^th August 2006.
