     Horse and Buggy

    (Leroy Anderson)

     

    This song was written in Woodbury, Connecticut, in 1951 and premiered by Leroy Anderson when he recorded it for Decca records.  The composition was written for orchestra and the realistic sound of the horse is emulated by the use of percussion.
