Hugo Peresetti, Luigi Creatore and George David Weiss
wrote this song in the mid-1970s.
It was first recorded by Van McCoy in 1975 and featured on his album
The Disco King and as the B-Side of his "Spanish Boogie". The Softones, who were also
produced by Hugo & Luigi later released the song in 1976 as a B-Side of
their disco version of "That Old Black Magic" which was H&L's first 12"
release. It appeared on their
1977 album Black Magic.
