This piece of music, also
known as Rumores de la Caleta,
Malaguena Op. 71 is the sixth part of the suite Recuerdos de Viaje (Travel Impressions)
which was published in 1887 in Madrid. It was originally composed for the
piano using the influences of flamenco and folk music and imitating the
sound of the Spanish guitar. A Malageuna is a form of flamenco that originates in old
fandangos from Malaga.
