This song was written by Bob Marley in 1979 and
recorded in Kingston, Jamaica.
It was released on the 1979 album Survival and as the flip
side of the popular 1980 chart single "Could You Be Loved". It later appeared on the
compilations Songs of Freedom and Natural Mystic: The Legend
Lives On. The title is
also a reference to a style of drumming used by Carlton Barrett. The song has featured on the
soundtrack of the 1995 Go Now and in the 2002 feature Gilberto
Gil: Kaya N'Gandaya.
