(Leroy Anderson)
Written in the late 1950s in Woodbury, Connecticut,
this piece is the end of the first act of the musical Goldilocks. It has various arrangements that
have been published, including choral, orchestral and band, and can often
be heard as a stand-alone piece of music. The Broadway show ran from October 1958 to February 1959
and Leroy Anderson premiered it's first recording in June 1962 for Decca.
