The B side to "Straight Ahead" comprises the first two tracks of Shooting Star's fourth album, Burning. Why the instrumental intro was deemed necessary is a mystery. Instead of flowing naturally into the song, it ends abruptly at 1:34, and then "Straight Ahead" begins, just as it does on side A, with no loss in storyline. There are even separate tracks on the record, in case picky fans want to eliminate the intro and cut to the chase, or perhaps eliminate the chase and cut out after the intro, although there is about a millisecond of dead air in which to do so.
