    Sailing Through

    (Southern Hennessy)

Fluffy ballad about a girl whose name sounds like “Serene”, but the song is less than.  This was released by Southern Hennessy on the AMG label in 1976.  The singer, who seems to be trying to channel the lead singer on “Precious and Few”, is frequently flat, and in spite of decent string orchestration and what sounds to be a xylophone solo (!) this one sailed off into the sunset.
