    Sevilla (Sevillanas)

    (Isaac Albeniz)

     

    This piece is the third of the eight original works contained in Suite Espanola, Op. 47 and written for piano in 1883.  It is named after the Spanish city of Seville and uses the music from Sevillana which is a popular form of flamenco.   It has been transcribed and arranged for guitar by several artists.
