    Roe's first #1 hit was actually the B side of "Save Your Kisses".  Disc jockeys preferred it to the A side and began playing it instead.  The song is likened to Buddy Holly's "Peggy Sue", although Tommy wrote it when he was fourteen, a full year before the latter song was released.
