VK-10659 (70-L-1711-REV.)
Although
the television program Medical Center
made its debut in September of 1969, Lalo Schifrin's theme song wasn't used
until the show's second season, in 1970. It exists in several incarnations, including a version
recorded on 18th September of that very same year for MGM
Records on 45 and as part of the compilation package, Medical Center and Other Great Themes Composed and Conducted by
Lalo Schifrin. The version
listed here appeared in March 1971 on Verve Records, backed with "All
for the Love of Sunshine", and is only available on 45. The original version
appears on Most Wanted: Best of Lalo Schifrin 1968-1969.
