Connolly, Stephen (13th February 1966-Present)

He is an English bass singer who was born in Yorkshire. He was a chorister at Leeds Parish Church and later a lay clerk.

He moved to London after leaving school and accepted a scholarship at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama where he studied singing with Rudolf Piernay. He joined the King’s Singers in 1987 before completing his studies and later became a co-director.

He left the King’s Singers in 2010 to concentrate on teaching although still carries out singing engagements.  He is a director of the International A Capella School
