Angel Tidings

(Traditional Moravian)
(Arranger: John Rutter)

This Christmas carol is a traditional Moravian carol discovered by the composer and choral conductor John Rutter in the Cambridge University Library.

After the carol was found it had new text added by John Rutter and he wrote the music and words to be sung by the Clare College Choir.

It appeared in a Clare College Choir Christmas recording and has since been sung by Polyphony and The Lancaster Singers.
