Although Roy Acuff is credited as the composer of this song, he said at an interview in 1973 that he bought it from “a boy that lived in Knoxville, and as far as I know, he wrote it”. He couldn’t remember his name at the time. This version is the B Side of ” The Wabash Cannonball”.
