Oklahoma Woodwind Quintet

This quintet is made of members on the faculty of the University of Oklahoma who have been giving concerts since 1975.  Having made a name for themselves they are often seen performing in the national and international arena and in 1985 made their debut at Carnegie Hall.

In the media spotlight they have been heard on Performance Today on National Public Radio and from their work in the studio their A Christmas Delight, which was the first time a seasonal recording for this type of ensemble had been made, was released in 1990.

They have commissioned several works including Songs of Man by Michael Hennigan who is the Composer in Residence at the University of Oklahoma.
