Percussionist and vocalist from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who was a member of a Delfonicssplinter group headed by Wilbert Hart in the ‘90s.
In the new millennium, he was absorbed into the Blue Notes, along with Arthur Aiken. Salaam also does Earth, Wind & Fire and Motown tribute shows.
His arsenal of percussive instruments includes the bass drum, congas, timbales, and timpanies.
