She is a horn player and teacher born in Montreal, Canada who studied for her musical diploma at Varnier College and her Bachelor of Music at McGill University, both in Montreal. She later studied for her teaching diploma at the School for Alexander Technique in Freiburg from 1989 to 1993 after relocating to Germany in 1981.
Prior to settling in Germany she was a member of Orchester Symphonique de Quebec in 1980 to 1981 and once she had relocated she was a member of State Orchester Mainz from 1982 to 1989 and State Orchestra Stuttgart from 1989 to 1990.
Since then she has been a free lance musician in between Concerto Koln from 1991 to 2017 and Anima Eterna from 2000 and has also performed with Balthasar Neumann Ensemble, Concerto Copenhagen, German Handel Soloists, Hannoversche Hopkapelle, La Petite Bande, Musica Antiqua Koln and Opera Fuoco among others.

In the field of musical education she has taught at several German universities and has given courses and private tuition in the FM Alexander technique from 1993 onwards.
