He is a percussionist, music minister, arranger and teacher who studied at the University if Maryland and Purchase College, New York.
His abilities to play in all genres of music has heard him performing in jazz, church and classical styles among others and has been heard with the National Orchestral Institute under the leadership of several acclaimed conductors, Blast of Brass, Army Blues, the Irving Symphony and the Annapolis Symphony.
He spent seven and a half years, appearing in around 800 concerts, recording and touring with Tim Zimmerman & The King’s Brass and has recently been heard with the quintet Jazz Package.
Hailed for his abilities on the vibraphone, among other percussive instruments, he has been acclaimed for his arrangements and performances of classic jazz pieces.
No stranger to the recording studio he can be heard on five albums with Tim Zimmerman & the King’s Brass that include Classic Hymns, Americana, Praise & Worship and Brass & Organ, Holiday Music to Warm Your Home with Stan McDonald and Simple Gifts by Scott Laird.
His involvement in the church has seen him serve as Stonebriar Community Church’s Music Ministry Assistant and his music arrangements are very much put into play as well as many other contributions to the community. As a teacher he has instructed many students in the Dallas area of Texas.
