McNally, Sam

He is a keyboardist, composer, producer and teacher born in Australia who has been in the music industry more than three decades.

In the 1970s he was a co-founder of Stylus who were the only artists of Australia ever to be signed by Motown for their American releases. Throughout his professional career he has recorded and appeared with many acclaimed groups and artists that include Air Supply. Average White Band, George Benson, Tommy Emmanuel, John Farnham, Tim Finn, Little River Band, Seals & Croft, Percy Sledge, and Ike & Tina Turner among many others.

As a composer working at his Song 1st Productions, he has been writing and co-writing his own music since 1981 and his compositions now appear on albums, movie soundtracks and commercials.

Albums he has featured on include his own First Chance and Jubilation, Where in the World and Best Kept Secret by Stylus, Lost in Love by Air Supply, Escapade by Tim Finn, This Island by Eurogliders and Peace Entourage.

In musical education he has lectured at the Sedaya College University in Malaysia.  He has appeared in concert and tours with his band Blues Solution as well as continuing to work with many Australian and New Zealand artists.
