He was a keyboard player who studied music at the University of Maryland.
He became part of The Beach Boys from 1998 to 2001 and since he left them he has played with America. He also worked with Leon Russell, Uma, Geno Washington & The Ram Jam Band as well as appearing on tribute albums to Bruce Springsteen and Pink Floyd.
He died suddenly on Boxing day 2007 aged just 57.
