Violinist who graduated from The Music Academy of the West in 1959, and went on to become a member of The Nashville String Machine, The Pasadena Symphony Orchestra, for whom he has also served as assistant concertmaster, and The Sheldon Kurland Strings.
He has also appeared with The Hollywood Studio Orchestra in their recording of the soundtrack to Rush Hour 2, composed by Lalo Schifrin.
Dennis Molchan has done session work for a who’s who of country and pop artists, including Paul Anka, Moe Bandy, Toni Braxton, Garth Brooks, Ray Charles, Floyd Cramer, Neil Diamond, Celine Dion, Donna Fargo, Amy Grant, Emmylou Harris, k.d. lang, Kenny G, Jerry Lee Lewis, Barry Manilow, Ricky Martin, Reba McEntire, Bill Monroe, The Oak Ridge Boys, The Statler Brothers, Sylvia, B.J. Thomas, Don Williams, and Neil Young.
