Moss, Jed

He is a keyboardist born in Idaho who has lived in Salt Lake City, Utah.

He studied piano at the Whitworth College at Spokane in Washington followed by the University of Utah.  He also won scholarships to sing in the Spokane Symphony Chorus and the Spokane Bach Chorale and has gained much operatic repetiteur experience through Opera Colorado and the Denver Regional Metropolitan Opera.

He is an accomplished concert pianist and has performed regularly as an accompanist and a soloist with orchestras including the Utah Symphony Orchestra and the Idaho State Civic Symphony.  He has been the principal keyboardist for the Utah Chamber Orchestra as well as being a contracted soloist for Ballet West for at least 8 years.

No stranger to the studio, he has recorded soundtracks for film and TV, including many Merchant & Ivory Productions.  He is also currently a pianist with the band Air Supply which he joined in December 1995 and co-wrote their instrumental track “Once” with Graham Russell.

He has recorded the album A French Soiree with the clarinettist Kathy Pope and aside from performing on many albums by Air Supply he has also performed with them on Remember Me by The Celtic Tenors.
