Nolte, Philip (1978-Present)

He is a violinist from Pretoria, South Africa, who studied at the University of South Africa and was the third prize winner at the first UNISA National String Competition.

He went on to become first violin in Portugal’s Orquestre do Algarve in 2002 and later he accepted the position of second violin with the London Symphony Orchestra and a member of the LSO String Ensemble.

With the LSO he has performed in many concerts of music by composers such as Beethoven, Debussy, Mahler, Sibelius and Tchaikovsky to name just a few.
