Violinist with the London Symphony Orchestra who appears on their recordings, ClassikhanEpiphanyHolst:  The PlanetsJohn Adams:  A Flowering Tree and Music of Hope.  She can also be heard on Fresh Aire 8 by Mannheim Steamroller.

On 13th June 2007, the LSO interpreted Claude Debussy’s “Three Preludes”, Sergei Prokofiev’s “Violin Concerto No. 1”, with soloist Vadim Repin, and Igor Stravinsky’s Petrushka and “Symphony in Three Movements”.

They were joined by soloist Andrew Marriner on 14th June 2007 for Debussy’s “First Rhapsody for Clarinet”, which was sandwiched between Prokofiev’s October Cantata and Stravinsky’s Les Noces.

On 2nd May 2008, they teamed up with tenor Robert Alagna for highlights for Giuseppe Verdi’s operas, such as Un ballo in mascheraLa forza del destinoLuisa MillerMacbethNabuccoOtelloRigolettoLa traviata and Il trovatore.

They offered up an all-Sibelius program at Lincoln Center on 19th October 2011 that paired the Finnish master’s “Symphony No. 2 in D major” with “Violin Concerto in D minor”, featuring soloist Nikolaj Znaider.

On 21st October 2011, they were back at Lincoln Center for a performance of Ludwig van Beethoven’s Mass in D major (Missa Solemnis) with mezzo-soprano Sarah Connolly, tenor Paul Groves, soprano Helena Juntunen, the London Symphony Chorus and bass Matthew Rose.

They appeared at Salle Pleyel on 13th November 2011 for a recital of modern works that included “Allegro assai” from “Divertimento pour orchestre a cordes” by Bela Bartok, “Barococo” by Alexandros Markeas, “EGAD!” and “Strings on the Wing” by Gareth Glyn, “The Sea and the Sky” by Jeff Moore and “Souvenir” by Ladislav Kupkovic.

On 15th February 2012, they returned to Barbican Hall for a program that comprised Bela Bartok’s “Concerto for Orchestra”, Erich Korngold’s “Concerto for Violin and Orchestra”, with soloist Leonidas Kavakos, and Sergei Rachmaninoff’s “The Isle of the Dead”.

They performed “Four Sea Interludes from Peter Grimes” by Benjamin Britten, “Symphony No. 6” (“Pathetique”) by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky and “Violin Concerto No. 1” by Dmitri Shostakovich, with soloist Sarah Chang, on 23rd February 2012.

On 11th May 2012, the LSO joined forces with Leonidas Kavakos and the London Symphony Chorus for a wall-to-wall Stravinsky spectacular that included The Firebird, “Mass” and “Violin Concerto in D major”.
