Vocalist who was in the U.S. Navy in the Vietnam era and attended Northwestern University, from whence he acquired a Masters degree in the field of journalism.
In 1991, he joined the congregation of the New Covenant Community Church in Audubon, New Jersey, and became an elder there.
He has also performed with The Philadelphia Singers, the chorus-in-residence of The Philadelphia Orchestra.
