Ujifusa, Steven

Bass singer, historical consultant and author who attended Horace Greeley High School, Harvard University, and the University of Pennsylvania.  He studied history at Harvard sang it, as well, appearing on The Harvard University Choir’s Christmas in the Busch.  At the University of Pennsylvania, he studied real estate development and historic preservation and walked away with a masters degree.

He has put his education to good use, working with the Philadelphia Department of Records and PlanPhilly.com, which is run by the university, and the SS United States Conservancy, a non-profit organization that is determined to preserve one of the country’s great ocean liners.  One way to preserve it:  Write about its history, which Steven has been doing, in a book with the working title, The Ideal Ship:  William Francis Gibbs and his Quest for the SS United States.
