Worf, Neil

He is a drummer who performed with The Flying Burrito Brothers during 1982 on their Coast to Coast tour.

He became the drummer for The Whites sometime after having made demos for Rick and Janis Carnes and has been credited with introducing them to their No. 9 hit “Pins and Needles” which was written by The Burrito Brothers’ John Beland.

He later recorded with The White’s dobro player Jerry Douglas and has performed on many other recordings with artists that include Glenn Worf, Bela Fleck, Edgar Meyer, Mark O’Connor and Ricky Skaggs to name just a few.

The albums he has appeared on include Changing Channels and Under the Wire by Jerry Douglas, Cajun Saturday Night by D.L. Menard, So I’ll Ride by The New Coon Creek Girls, New Dreams and Sunshine by Rhondda Vincent as well as the compilations Louisiana Scrapbook and Cajun Spice.
