This ensemble is an offshoot of the Cincinnati Pops and their previous Assistant Conductor, Keith Lockhart, made his debut recording with them on a Christmas album where they were accompanied by the singer Mel Torme.
They have also performed with Gregg Hoover and the violinist Yumi Hwang. Members of the sinfonietta include the French horn player Scott Russell and the Musical Director Colin Jagger.
