Country Gentlemen, The

Progressive bluegrass band that dates back to 4th July 1957 when the original lineup included John Duffey (Mandolin), Bill Emerson (Banjo), Larry Lahey (Bass) and Charlie Waller (Guitar).

Shortly thereafter, Eddie Adcock supplanted Emerson on banjo and Tom Gray replaced Larry Lahey on bass.  This was more or less their “permanent” lineup although it has obviously changed several times throughout their 50-year career.

Randy Waller took over the outfit after his father Charlie passed away in 2004.  They were inducted into the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Honor in 1996 and continue to perform to this day.
