This percussion ensemble is made up of musicians from the University of Massachusetts and has been led by the head of the Percussion Department, Jeffrey Fischer.
The music faculty member, Juanita Tsu has performed with them as a piano soloist, as has John McDonald who has been a professor at Tufts University.
The have performed the works of several composers in concert including John Cage, Richard Grayson and Felix Mendelssohn and gave the world premiere of Ballet Mecanique by George Antheil in 1999 at the University of Massachusetts’ Concert Hall.
