Mautner, Liane

She is a violinist who has performed as a member of the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra.

In 2005 she also appeared at the Hollywood Bowl in A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillour as a member of the Creamy Garlic String Ensemble.

She has played the violin for countless artists during her career with just a select few including Christina Aguilera, Matt Dusk, Fergie, Melody Gardot, Mary Haskell, Heather Headley, Steve Lawrence, Bette Midler, Luis Miguel, Lee Ritenour, Jim Self, Frank Sinatra Jr., Keely Smith, Joss Stone, John Tesh and Yellowcard.

Active in the recording studio for at least the last three decades she has performed on a huge library of releases. Just a few of these include Still Unforgettable by Natalie Cole, The Christmas Album by David Foster, A Christmas to Remember by Amy Grant, Blood on the Dance Floor: History in the Mix by Michael Jackson, Quiet Nights by Diana Krall, Ultimate Mancini by Henry Mancini, Greatest Songs of the Fifties by Barry Manilow, Merry Little Christmas by Linda Ronstadt, Time For Love by Arturo Sandoval, October Road by James Taylor and John Axelrod: How Do I Love Thee (Love Songs for the Romantic at Heart).

Her violin playing has been heard on many film soundtracks with some of them being Along Came a Spider, The Bourne Identity, Bulletproof Monk, Cats and Dogs, Cinema Paradiso, Constantine, Elf, Evolution, I Am Sam, I, Robot, Last Samurai, Legend of Zorro, Looney Tunes: Back in Action, Meet the Fokkers, National Treasure, Panic Room, Peter Pan, Princess Diaries, The Salton Sea, Scary Movie 3, Sin City, Skeleton Key, Star Trek: Nemesis and War of the Worlds.
