Rojas, Carmine

He is a bass player born in New York City who has worked with many international artists in many genres of music.

After having played in the band Baby Grand during the 1970s he joined the group Nektar in 1980 and stayed with them until 1982, rejoining them in 2006.

In the years in between he became widely acclaimed and toured and/or recorded with Alphaville, Joe Bonassama, David Bowie, Celia Cruz, Al Green, Mick Jagger, Julian Lennon, Carly Simon, Billy Squier, Tina Turner, John Waite, Bobby Womack, Stevie Wonder and Ziroq among many others as well as gaining the position of Rod Stewart’s Musical Director.   He has recently been performing with band Cale who play a mixture of Latin and flamenco music.
