I love The Tams
My favorite of their songs is "Be Young, Be Foolish, But Be Happy". The tape I have has that song only as part of a medley! But at least it has all the other Tams songs I remember. I have that one on single I think but I really like their "Hey Girl, Don't Bother Me". The Tams we...

Re: What is it with Moody Blues tapes?
I have several cassettes by various artists that are different to their vinyl counterparts and I still have to work out why. :? I don't have any Moody Blues ones though so I can't even tell you if the US and UK copies are different, which happens more times than I care to mention. Sometimes they don...

Rest in Peace Michael!
I am so sad at the loss of Michel Jackson who died yesterday. He was one of those people who I grew up with and was always there. I faithfully bought all of his records and played them till they were almost worn out. I remember seeing him on the TV as a kid with the Jackson 5 and waiting in fervent ...

Oh my again!
Not a hope in hell of fitting just 10 albums in my lists. Make it a couple of hundred at least.
I think it also depends on what kind of mood I'm in as to what my favourite choices are on any particular day. At the moment I can't think of any, but tomorrow I may have 40.

I have far too many bands to mention and each of them deserves to be in the Top 10 really.

I would say...
Emma Bunton who has had to tackle getting over being thought of as a Spice Girl. Her retro and bossa nova work is exceptional. :D I must ask though, how can a superstar be underrated as they managed to make it to that status in the first place? So people do obviously rate them highly for one reason ...

Hothouse Flowers
I remember when they came on the scene back in the '80s but I haven;t heard that much on them since which is kind of a shame.
