Influential guitarist of the late fifties/early sixties who paved the way for metal guitarist by discovering fuzz-tone, overdrive, and distortion. He was also the first guitarist to use power chords. "Jack the Ripper" was his finest hour, IMHO, but here's his first hit which has the distinction of being the only instrumental ever banned from some radio stations playlists for being too menacing.
