But Tmac I just said I remembered "going". I didn't say anything else about how the rest of the night went and if I remembered going home.
I'm not going to let my history pull me down and hold me back, you see.

Everyone has played this song. I remember my high school band playing this. Quincy sure knows how to put a song in your mind and keep it there.

Oh, and Jody? Don't play so innocent!
I have a feeling YOU'VE been there, TOO!

AKA Rick DERRINGER. Had a solo career in the seventies recording "Rock and Roll Hoochie Coo" among others, but before that, in the sixties, he led a band called Rick and the Raiders. They later changer their name to...The McCoys. (Named themselves after a Ventures tune, incidentally)

Gary Allen AKA Gary Herzberg hails from La Mirada, California. Even though he had seen success in the country music music scene before 2004, his album "Tough All Over" hit big with this single "Best I Ever Had!"

I couldn't find a live video for fairly obvious reasons but Bix Beiderbecke is always worth a mention as one of "the" sounds of the 1920s...

Many forget June was a beloved recording artist in her own right before she met Johnny. She and her family were a popular group and recorded many songs.
You got your bonus points, Fee.

Wonderfully smooth singer who was a talented band leader and solo performer. His style of singing and dress influenced many artists at the time. A legendary rumor credits Eckstine with providing the influence for Miles Davis to finally kick his heroin habit and return to singing. Those close to both men claim always neatly dressed Eckstine met Davis while Davis was in the depths of a heroin habit. Seeing Miles shabbily dressed, Eckstine reportedly said to him, "Looking sharp, Miles" Apparently that comment along with others was a wake u call which pushed Davis to kick his drug habit and get his life in order.
Good song, Tmac.
