I posted both songs because I love both songs, and you can't list Ms. Francis without doing both.

Right before "Where the Boy Are" was recorded, MGM was about to drop her from contract because she could not produce a successful hit. Her father talked her into recording the song because he believed it would be a hit. He was right. After it debuted on American Bandstand in 1958, it sold over a million copies. Her follow up smash hit, "Who's Sorry Now" reached number one on the UK chart and number four in the US. More hits followed and Connie Francis is now one of the most beloved and popular female singers in the world.
