I LOVE this song. I remember as a teen listening to the Jim LaBarbera show late at night on 50,000 watt WLW out of Cincinnati. He called himself "The Music Professor" and he truely WAS! I learned a LOT about rock and roll from that guy. Anyway, this was his official sign-off song every night.

Boy, I can hear him now...
Toolin' down the highway doing 79,
I'm a twin-pipe papa and I'm feeling fine...

Popular in his home country of the Dominican Republic, his debut album won the prestigious Dominican music award, the Cassandra. Because of his albums, there has been a renewed interest in merengue périco ripao which is the traditional Dominican music.

One of the few Celine Dion songs I like. I also love Meatloaf's version but this is very good from the female point of view.

Singer/songwriter, best remembered for this hit:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-pyC7WnvLT4

But among the songs he wrote were:
"Little Arrows" by Leapy Lee
"Gimme Dat Ding", a hit for The Pipkins, who covered an album cut by Freddie and the Dreamers.
"Freedom Come, Freedom Go" by The Fortunes, AND
"The Air That I Breathe", the last international hit for The Hollies.
Lord, you have filled my cup so full,
How can I fear tomorrow?

I really like this version even though I'm a big fan of Sinatra doing it.

Bonus points please! :)

I didn't know she sang with Andy Williams while they were married. Whenever I saw her acting in a role, she always reminded me of a little girl because of her voice.
