I don't know anything about this group other than they're a British R & B girl group.

I don't know anything about this group, but their one "hit" was "Summer Sun" and it has eluded me for years! Here's a cocer of the song, but it doesn't BEGIN to do justice to the original...

I couldn't find a video of this '60s outfit which included Don Gant, who is covered on the site, and Tupper Saussy. Here is the best I can find for their "Morning Girl"....

Fictional group from "That Thing You Do" who eventually had to change the spelling to "Wonders" to keep from being known as "The O-needers!"
I must admit this movie and sond are guilty pleasures of mine! :D

I posted this one because I showed Kris a how to video on learning how to play the song. It's cool on a classical guitar.

Very cheesy pop group from the UK in the 1970s. Still, they had several hits over here such as "Some Girls"...

American rock band popular in the 70's and 80's. They were orginally known as the "The Tradewinds" but had to pick a new name. According to Dennis DeYoung, "Styx" was the only name they all could agree on. They were one of the 70's bands to use a vocoder in this song for a distinctive robot sound.

T Rex

Post by fiona »

I adored Marc Bolan and T Rex in the seventies and was devastated when he died in a road accident. I know it's been covered since, but this original version of "Bang a Gong (Get It On)" is still a force to be reckoned with....

Super-group with a cause:

Part of the fun of hearing it on the radio was trying to figure out who sang what line. (I love wathcing Cyndi Lauper's part. She puts every ounce of her being into it.)
Lord, you have filled my cup so full,
How can I fear tomorrow?
