Black and Blue.

This was an actual tour name for co-headliners Black Sabbath and Blue Öyster Cult, in 1980.

Speaking of BÖC, after all but 2 of the original members had quit, some people referred to the remaining band as "Two Öyster Cult". [laugh]

(Can you tell I've been doing a little research into BÖC? I'm currently re-uploading audiotapes to my computer, and have gotten to the 2 BÖC tapes I have.)

It sounds like someone beat us to the punch. :P

Two Oyster Cult. I like it. :P

How do you upload audiotapes onto your computer, BTW?

I have a turntable with a USB connector, and the software for uploading vinyl recordings. It also has input jacks, so I hooked up my tape player through the turntable to connect to the computer. Turn on computer, click on Audacity program, click on "record" and "pause". Turn on turntable. Turn on tape player, hit play. Hit "pause" to unpause the recording. (Somewhere in there I also turn on my speakers.)

When it's all recorded, I then have to save it to my "Music" files (MP3), as the Audacity recording isn't usable by iTunes, nor can it be burned to a CD. But I can export the files as wav, MP3, or ogg vorbis (whatever that is). So I can give each song a title, and save it as part of an album, etc.

Very cool. 8)

I have a USB turntable that Fee gave me and it is only one of the coolest gifts ever. I haven't had as much time to experiment as I would like but it sounds like you've got the hook-up. 8)
