I love this group. Their "All Time Greatest Hits" was one of the first albums I found searching for thrift store treasures as a teenager. I couldn't believe my fabulous good luck.

I'm not bad. I'm just drawn that way!
The Turtles
These guys were so great! Here's a real gem that you've probably never heard unless you've seen the 1966 beach party/ hot rod/ spy spoof classic "Out of Sight" which rarely gets shown. Too bad, because it's a good movie with great music!

(The) Wonder Who
The Four Seasons released this record under the name "The Wonder Who?" but it wasn't really that difficult to figure out...

Interesting group there, Fee. Never heard of them, but not a bad sound.

My son LOVES the guitar intro and it's one of the first things he learned to play.

The guy at the front ith the beard is also the lead of The Maisonettes. Quite a change in genres but I adored this song when it came out.
I can't believe they haven't been done until now. I love Blue Oyster Cult also and still listen to their albums.tmac396 wrote:I checked all the way back and these guys haven't been mentioned yet. What on OVERSIGHT on MY part! Well, here they are!

Her voice is so beautiful. This was written by Evanescence guitarist Ben Moody. He based it upon a short story he had written. There are different versions of the song but this is the one which hit on the charts. Amy Lee (lead singer) provided the bridge. Rolling Stone magazine called this song the most haunting song of 2004.

I just posted a song by these guys on the music board and one song led to another. Here's one of my seldom-heard favorites...

The G-Clefs
Heres a video put together for their "Ka Ding Dong" and I must admit to have been a sucker for the clip of Cary Grant that comes before the song.

They really know how to do harmony. This song charted #7 on the Billboard chart in 1952.
