You know Thomas
I am always concerned about some of what I listen to, but then you come out with some real winners.
I haven't listened to anything this week yet.

I'm not going to let my history pull me down and hold me back, you see.
I know this Thomas
...and you normally keep me entertained with some of the stuff I see you playing when you're on the computer or talking to me on the phone.
Eclectic is good. That's why you are involved in an extremely eclectic music site.

Eclectic is good...
It keeps one mysterious!
I have big band music playing in my player. Someone on the music board over on that other place (it who can't be named ) mentioned Glenn Miller, and I went hunting for my big band music. I've always loved it. The only problem is I keep jumping up to dance while I'm trying to type.

I'm not bad. I'm just drawn that way!
I listen to CDs in my car, mostly.
And I tend to take them out of the racks in the (alphabetical) order that I keep them in. So that's how I listen to them: alphabetically. Currently, I've got Band On the Run by Paul McCartney and Wings. The next one would be Wingspan, also by PM&W. Then Run Devil Run, by PM... You get the idea.
I've only recently gotten an iPod. (80 Gb) I'm uploading a bunch of my CDs onto my computer, so I can download them to my iPod. I've gotten as far as The Coasters. I think it's going to take a while...

Lord, you have filled my cup so full,
How can I fear tomorrow?

I guess this is the thread to post this:...
I've reached a milestone of sorts with my iPod. I have uploaded my "Pop/Rock" CDs, and have started on the "Anthologies". My iPod has about 5900 songs on it, and that takes up slightly less than 20 GB. If I play my iPod nonstop (assuming the battery would last that long), that's enough music for 15 days!
After the "Anthologies", I'll have to upload the "Jazz/Swing" CDs, the "Soundtracks", and the "Classical". Then, if there's any room, I might even go ahead and upload the "Christmas" CDs.

Quite a variety, now that I think about it...
...CD's are usually limited to the car. If I'm listening to the home system, it's vinyl 90% of the time. In the car this week I've listened to:
"Flat as a Pancake" by Head East
"Two Lane Highway" by Pure Prarie League
"Never to Be Forgotten" an anthology set of The Bobby Fuller Four
"Del Rio, Texas, 1959" by Radney Foster
Hey...I like a little variety!

I am like tmac
...and as I'm in the process of taping all my vinyl just now I hardly listen to a CD. You can't beat LPs and 45s in my opinion as they have their own wonderful type of sound!!
So if I can say what's playing on my turntable then "Suits" by Fish.

This weekend the autochanger had...
1/ William Orbit - Hello Waveforms
2/ Moby - Play
3/ Madonna - Confessions on a Dancefloor
4/ Nip/Tuck - Soundtrack
5/ Hybrid - I Choose Noise
6/ Hybrid - Morning Sci-Fi
I'll do a refresh tonight with some other wonderful CD's from my collection.
I only do CD's and digital recordings on the Computers, most of the stuff I listen to was originally recorded for the CD Format so I am playing it as natively as possible.

Sun - Sun is Here
Sad Cafe - Strange Little Girl
Spyro Gyra - Morning Dance
Sugarhill Gang - Rapper's Delight
Sarr Band - Magic Mandrake
and many, many more.
I'm not going to let my history pull me down and hold me back, you see.
Just listening to....
Walking Tall by Mark Siskin.
I really don't know much about this guy at all.
