He is a cellist and composer born in Stockholm, Sweden, who studied at the Swedish Royal Academy of Music and started his professional career as a classical musician.
In 1985 he joined up with other ex-pupils from the Academy to form the Fleshquartet which are now a very popular ensemble covering a repertoire from rock to classical.
Appearing on many recordings with them he has featured on the albums Goodbye Sweden, Fire Fire, Voice of Eden and the Swedish Grammis Award winning Flow as well as the albums For the Stars by Elvis Costello and Anne Sofie von Otter, In the Middle of This Riddle by Jeannette Lindstrom, Desireless by Eagle Eye Cherry, Rhyme by Marty Willson-Piper, The Swedish Recordings 1970-1975 by Flasket Brinner, This Is by Mercury Motors, Horror Wrestling by Drain S.T.H.The German Years: 1977-1999 by Moondog, Deaf Dumb & Blind by Clawfinger, This Perfect Day by This Perfect Day and I Let the Music Speak by Anne Sofie von Otter.
As a composer his work has been heard on the soundtracks of several movies including the Danish film Soap, the 1991 Il Capitano and 1998’s Their Frozen Dream.
