Olleson, Andrew

He is an English countertenor who began his musical career as a boy soprano who was a treble soloist with the Choir of Christ Church Cathedral at Oxford.

He has gone on to appear with several ensembles that include Counterpoint, Mouth and Trousers, Oxford Camerata, The Sixteen, Summertown Choral Ensemble, Vinum Bonum and Voces Sacrae.

Appearing on several recordings, he can be heard on O For The Wings of a Dove and Hear, O Heav’ns with the Choir of Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford, Britten: Ceremony of Carols with the Dublin Choir of Christ Church Cathedral, Byrd: Masses for Four and Five Voices and Tallis: Mass for Four Voices by Oxford Camerata, Renaissance Music for Inner Peace by The Sixteen,The Good, The Bad and The Queen and Spring “A Collection of Season Classics.”

He has held the position of a Lay Clerk at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London.

He performs here on Hear, O Heav’ns with with the Choir of Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford…
