Taylor, Rudolph

He is a singer-songwriter and producer who worked with the Gap Band in the 1980s.  He co-wrote several of their songs including “Party Lights”, “Burn Rubber” and “Early in the Morning” alongside the Wilson brothers and Lonnie Simmons.  He also co-wrote the song “Uptown Funk” which was a hit for Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars.

He is sometimes referred to as Rudy “In the PM” Taylor.
